Early morning

The bed is warm in mid December

I see fog outside, must be minus degrees

Sun is gone already since October

He said he’d be back in April

I cannot stay in, I like outdoors extremes

Go run, train your body, breath the ice in the air

Sweat, sweat, sweat, let the toxins escape

Start your day clean, cleaner than yesterday

Smile, if you can’t, fake it, you’ll make it

Get ready, go to work, start your day

At the metro stop, people eating breakfast

I smell onions at 8 am, amazing day starter

Cigarettes, coffees and cappuccinos in people’s hands

Small eyes, more asleep than awake

I smile, I am awake, my exercise at 5 am is dope

I have energy, my day starts well
